Graphite-Plugged Bronze Bushings (JDB-type)
Graphite-plugged (solid-lubricant embedded) bushings place graphite or graphite-blend plugs in a bronze or high-tensile brass body. The plugs feed lubricant to the sliding face so many joints can run dry or with little grease. Fit for high load, low speed, intermittent motion, and dusty outdoor pivots — a core series from Zhejiang, China.
When to use
- Heavy static or oscillating load at low sliding speed
- Dust, outdoor exposure, or limited relubrication access
- Intermittent motion (pins, hinges, mold slides) rather than continuous high-speed rotation
- Duties that prefer a metal body plus solid lubricant over a thin polymer face
Not the first pick when: continuous dry running at medium–high speed with very low friction — consider PTFE-lined (SF-1 type) instead.
Forms available
- Cylindrical (sleeve) bushings
- Flanged bushings
- Thrust washers
- Wear plates / slide plates
- Custom shapes to drawing (pockets, flats, special OD/ID)
- JDB-type industry reference sizes on request
Materials
High-tensile brass / C86300-class bodies, or bronze grades as specified; solid-lubricant plugs (graphite or graphite-blend). Alloy and plug grade confirmed on RFQ.
Typical duty
Excavator and construction pin joints, boom/stick hinges, attachment pivots; mold guide bushings and wear plates; dusty agricultural hinges; other high-load, low-speed plain bearings where grease intervals are hard to keep.
Operating envelope (qualitative)
High load · low speed · dry or sparsely lubricated · good dust tolerance. For numeric P / V / PV and temperature limits, request the factory size chart or datasheet with your duty notes.
Replacement / equivalent note
Often cross-referenced as graphite-plugged bronze (JDB-type industry code). Industry codes are for engineering cross-reference only. Liantuo Bushing is not affiliated with third-party brand owners.
